Creditus is a startup that helps people find the best financial products in the market. Our goal is to make financial product acquisition more efficient. We just closed a seed-stage round, with a stable product, clients, and gaining traction. We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer.
Stock options equivalent to 0.5%-1.0% of the company (with vesting schedule).
27K MXN monthly salary (before taxes).
Being the main individual contributor to the codebase while the engineering team grows.
Writing of technical specification documents.
Being involved in strategic planning for the company.
You will be reporting directly to the CEO and CTO.
You will responsible (along with the CTO) for the tech operation of the company.
You:
Have the ability to learn fast, including learning new technologies and adapting to meet the needs of rapid growth and evolving business.
Have a strong understanding of Javascript/Typescript. This is extremely important because our current codebase is mainly written in JS, from the frontend (React) to the backend (Express/TypeORM).
Are comfortable writing SQL queries that involve multiple joins, and mapping a set of product requirements to a normalized and performant DB schema.
Have experience with ORMs and understand the tradeoffs they offer.
Understand the importance of an agile process while developing software.
Are interested in helping recruiting new engineers.
You:
Are familiar with AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, VPCs, Textract, Rekognition, et al.
Understand why a CI/CD pipeline is important for software projects, and have experience designing them.
Have experience working with Docker.
Have some experience writing bash scripts.
